MajorJob Duties
This role, reporting to the Construction Foreman, is responsible for executing capital improvements and performing construction projects in their assigned zone.
This is a key role supporting the upgrading of our facilities.
Primary Responsibilities- Work with the engineering department to complete planned projects
- Execute work on open work orders and pending construction projects as assigned
- Dig and install new mains as needed
- Assist with water and wastewater line repairs, new line installation, and other work as directed
- Work with the maintenance team as needed
- All other duties as assigned

- OSHA Safety Training is preferred
- Ability to read and interpret Engineering and Construction plans
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience with heavy equipment is a plus
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy objects of up to 75 pounds
- Exposure to potential hazards such as chemicals, fumes, and odors
- Will work in confined spaces
- Willingness to be on call in emergency situations
