Through the Skill Bridge Service Technician program, Komatsu is assessing interns for potential nationwide full‑time positions:
- Service Technicians
- Instrumentation & Control Technicians
- Electricians
- Machinists
- Welders
Internships start monthly based on service member availability and chain of command approval. Komatsu will provide transportation to the internship location, lodging, and meals. To apply, send an email to Military Careersatsu. A Komatsu military veteran will contact you to discuss opportunities.
Qualifications / Requirements- Must be a current Active Duty Service member
- Must be separating from the Military in 8‑12 months
- Must be able to complete up to 120 days of Skill Bridge internship
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week
- Willingness to learn and accept developmental feedback

Service Technicians are responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of Komatsu construction and mining equipment, including electric drive trucks, electric shovels, and excavators. Interns will receive training on equipment maintenance, instrumentation and control systems, machining, and welding as part of the on‑the‑job training portion of the internship.
