As a Training Specialist, you will develop, implement, and manage training sessions, along with end-user product manuals, demonstrations, and solution-based seminars. This position focuses on enhancing customer product knowledge, generating new opportunities by supporting the Sales team in the role of educational training, and strengthening customer relationships surrounding AVI‑SPL’s line of products and software.

WHAT YOU’LL DOAs a Training Specialist, you will develop, implement, and manage training sessions, along with end-user product manuals, demonstrations, and solution-based seminars. This position focuses on enhancing customer product knowledge, generating new opportunities by supporting the Sales team in the role of educational training, and strengthening customer relationships surrounding AVI‑SPL’s line of products and software.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities- Schedule and conduct trainings with customers
- Interact with customers and AVI‑SPL staff daily
- Effectively develop and present new training courses & material
- Develop training manuals, user guides and closeout documents
- Conduct product demonstrations for key customers
- Support sales team and office locations to increase training opportunity of AVI‑SPL’s entire line of products and software
- Work with internal departments to offer assistance when necessary to ensure AVI‑SPL’s success
- Represent AVI‑SPL with integrity and professionalism
- Significant local travel involved
- Perform additional tasks, responsibilities, and projects as needed to support the team and organization, ensuring flexibility in adapting to evolving priorities and objectives
- 2-4 years’ experience in teaching, curriculum development and audiovisual technologies
- Familiarity with audiovisual technologies and willingness to learn new systems
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Exceptional organizational skills with the capability to switch tasks while adapting to changing priorities
- Self-motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented team player
- Ability to lift and carry equipment/materials (up to 35 pounds)
- Valid Driver’s License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI‑SPL driving standards
- Prior experience in customer-facing training roles within the AV or tech industry
- Experience developing both live and virtual training programs
Knowledge of AVI‑SPL’s product lines or similar AV systems - Familiarity with webinar platforms and remote training tools
