Sonoran Roots is looking for a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Brand Ambassador
, working alongside our marketing and sales departments.

Sonoran Roots is a vertically integrated, craft cannabis company headquartered in Tempe, Arizona. As an independent and locally owned company founded by Arizona natives, Sonoran Roots maintains a focus on producing high quality, clean, and compliant cannabis products for its customers.

The company owns and operates three cultivation facilities (Mesa & Tempe), a state-of-the-art extraction lab (Tempe), and well-established retail dispensaries (Glendale, Chandler, Flagstaff, Tucson, Phoenix, Tempe-Mesa, Mesa & Queen Creek). Our family of brands is well known for quality in the Arizona market and includes Sonoran Roots Cannabis, Charlie s Prerolls, Canamo Concentrates, and Ponderosa Dispensaries.

Our Mission:
Provide the most consistent, high-quality products and services to the patients, customers, and dispensaries of Arizona, while making a lasting, positive impact on employees and the community.

The Brand Ambassador will work alongside our full-time staff to promote and market Sonoran Roots, Canamo Concentrates & CBD, and Ponderosa Dispensary. Each Brand Ambassador is responsible for educating the constituents of the Arizona Cannabis community about the company and its brands. The Brand Ambassador s role is to build awareness of upcoming marketing promotions, generate interest in our products, and create a positive image for the brand within the cannabis community and among potential consumers.

Ambassadors must be authentic, enthusiastic, and passionate advocates for the Cannabis cause and movement.

• Works with Field & Trade Marketing Manager to collect materials and merchandise.
• Utilize online scheduling tool to sign up for events, and show up to scheduled events on time, in appropriate attire, and ready to work.
• Represent & uphold consistent message based on Company brand standards.
• Attend and promote events around the State of Arizona (primarily Phoenix Metro area) and educate customers on our products.
• Give out merchandise and other promotional products to customers.
• Engage in necessary product education as may be required from time to time.
• Will participate in 5 - 10 events a month, and ambassadors are expected to bring new opportunities to their team leads.

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Ability to stay focused on promotion and marketing during events.
• Attention to detail and ability and willingness to follow instructions.
• Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Reliable attendance and communication.
• Ambassadors must safely and compliantly move cannabis products.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ambassadors should assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and professional working environment both at company facilities and events.
• Ambassadors are in charge of taking inventory of all products before entering or starting an event.
• Ambassadors must complete event checklists with efficiency and precision.
• Manage inventory of any "unused" product and ensure proper storage for the next event or opportunity.
• Be respectful! Make sure everyone is having a great time.

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in the cannabis industry (formal or informal)
• Desire for full-time employment opportunities with the company.
• Cannabis--related education.

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds as needed.
• Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

License/Certification:
Must obtain and maintain an AZDHS Facility Agent Card to start work.
