Tender Loving Care Veterinary Services is a well-established low-cost pet vaccination and preventative health clinic with 25 community locations across Arizona. Our mission is to provide quality, affordable and accessible veterinary care, focusing on vaccinations and preventative health measures, while still treating minor ailments. Our clinics operate four days a week with flexible scheduling and no holidays or nights. At TLC one of our missions is to have a culture change in the Veterinary industry.

We are looking for energetic, talented, and compassionate individuals to be part of the TLC team. This is a part-time position that can lead to a full-time position. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is a seasoned or inexperienced technician. Our clinic services are dedicated to vaccinations, preventative health care and minor ailments, making it an ideal setting for those experiencing “burnout” and looking to make a positive impact on community pet health.

Great for an individual who is seeking a healthy work-life balance. You will visit one to three clinic locations daily and spend between one and a half to three hours per location. Each day will consist of anywhere from 6 – 8 hours daily. We are seeking a passionate and skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our clinic, you will work closely with our veterinarians to provide exceptional care to our animal patients and support their owners.

• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
• Perform laboratory tests, including bloodwork.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
• Handle and restrain animals safely and compassionately.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Provide education and support to pet owners on topics such as nutrition, medication administration, and preventive care.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies.

• Have previous experience as a technician or working with animals is preferred.
• Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital.
• Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
• Willing to work 30-40 hours weekly.
• Able to learn how to use software management programs.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
