As an
** RN ICU Float
** you will be part of a team providing exceptional patient care at Banner Baywood Medical Center and Banner Heart Hospital. This position is part of Clinical Care Operations, which is the hub of patient management for the campus, including bed assignment, unit staffing, house supervision, emergency preparedness (code events and internal disasters), patient transports, dispatch, and data analysis. Several employee groups report to this department, including clinical positions such as RN House Senior Managers, SWAT RNs, and Resource Team (RNs, NAs, PCAs, HUCs, and BHTs) plus non-clinical roles such as Office Supervisor, Transport Supervisor, Dispatchers, Placement Reps, and Information  your role as a
** Registered Nurse with the lCU Float**, you will work on the ICU unit at Banner Baywood Medical Center and the CVICU at Banner Heart Hospital. You may also float to the Med/Surg, PCU, and Obs units at Banner Baywood, depending on staffing needs. Opportunity to work 3x12--hour shifts,
** Day Shift** (7:00AM-7:30PM) with weekend rotations. Enjoy an 18%-night shift differential and a flat rate $3/hour weekend shift differential when applicable. As an added bonus, Float Pool RN's also enjoy an additional $3/hr float incentive on top of base pay.

POSITION SUMMARY  This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
