The level III Women’s Center at Banner Desert Medical Center consists of a Labor & Delivery, High Risk Antepartum, OB Triage, OB OR’s & Postpartum Mother‑Baby department that delivers professional and compassionate care to the mother’s & babies any gestation birth until discharge. Our highly skilled team includes experienced bedside registered nurses, licensed nursing assistants, scrub techs’ and IBCLC certified lactation consultants that care for the physical and emotional needs of delivering mothers and babies.

We provide a range of services from low‑risk mothers and infants to the most complex Obstetrical and Neonatal cases in the valley. Our services include 24 hour OB, MFM and Anesthesia coverage as well as Level 1 OB trauma services.

There is no better time than now to be a part of our team with 14 LDR rooms, 24 Antepartum rooms, 3 surgical rooms, 4 recovery beds and 9 triage evaluation beds.

Our amazing team of Registered Nurses take part in 300‑350 deliveries per month. This is a full time night shift position. We are considering new to service registered nurses with acute care experience. This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development.
