Join our team to oversee the preparation, painting, foaming, and finishing of HVAC systems and components, ensuring high-quality work throughout all projects.

• Design and develop painting systems and procedures for HVAC projects, selecting appropriate coatings for different materials and environments.
• Coach and mentor Painter 1s and Painter 2s, providing guidance, training, and support to develop their skills.
• Inspect HVAC components and systems to determine the best approach for painting, including surface preparation, coating selection, and application techniques.
• Manage and coordinate painting schedules, ensuring timely completion of projects and effective use of resources.
• Perform complex painting tasks, including intricate detailing, high-durability coatings, and protective finishes.
• Conduct quality control inspections, ensuring finished surfaces meet aesthetic, functional, and durability requirements.
• Ensure that all painting work complies with company quality standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
• Maintain and troubleshoot painting equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition and performing preventive maintenance as needed.
• Stay current with new painting technologies, materials, and industry best practices, implementing improvements as needed.
• Follow instructions and work under the supervision of more experienced painters.
• Follow lean manufacturing guidelines, providing continuous improvement suggestions for gained efficiency.

• 5+ years of industrial spray painting experience.
• Extensive knowledge of painting techniques, coatings, and the ability to manage projects and mentor junior painters.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality, durable finishes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, environmental controls, and PPE requirements in industrial painting.

• Must be able to pass truck and crane certification with training upon hire.

The work environment requires the ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch as required, and climb portable ladders. Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) will be required. This role demands good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
