Maintenance Technician Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be a key resource in the repair of production equipment, including pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and welding systems. You will track and update preventive maintenance plans for equipment, actively participate in the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of an automated production line, and ensure the adherence to safety regulations and procedures.

• Repair and maintain production equipment, including pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and welding systems.
• Track and ensure updates to the preventive maintenance plan for equipment.
• Participate in the deployment, maintenance, and optimization of an automated production line.
• Follow the preventive maintenance program for various equipment.
• Strictly apply safety regulations and adhere to procedures and work methods related to equipment operation.

• Experience in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing.
• Proficiency in production supervision, lockout, and tag out procedures.
• PLC troubleshooting skills, including safety checks and examining power supply, wiring, and hardware.
• Ability to systematically diagnose and resolve issues in electromechanical systems.
• Experience managing a production floor, including staff coordination, scheduling, quality control, and safety compliance.

• Completed training in electromechanics (DEP or DEC).
• Experience as an electromechanical technician.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

The work environment requires physical ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb portable ladders. Personal Protection Equipment is required, and good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are essential. This role is performed in a modern, air-conditioned manufacturing facility located in Mesa, Arizona.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
