Job Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Define and document change processes, ensuring all modifications are systematically recorded and communicated.
- Lead line balancing activities as needed according to production needs and improvements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, commissioning, rework and maintenance, to ensure seamless integration of process improvements.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment and understanding of process changes.
- Provide all required equipment and tools in all areas by analyzing the need and requirement.
- Integrate and optimize the use of Atlas Copco tools within the manufacturing process.
- Ensure tools are properly maintained, calibrated, and used according to manufacturer specifications.
- Program Atlas Copco tools according to process needs to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
- Provide training and support to production staff on the proper use of Atlas Copco tools.
- Lead responsibilities for line setup, station readiness, and equipment installations for future projects.
- Ensure all new setups and installations meet operational requirements and safety standards.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Automotive / Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering with 3-5 years of Automotive industry related experience. (required)
- Experience working in a production environment
- Proven experience in a manufacturing process engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, fixtures, and tooling.
- Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to analyze issues using 5 Why methodology, research root causes, and develop effective, creative solutions with sound decision-making.
- Ability to interpret and apply a range of instruction formats (written, oral, diagrams, schedules) and address problems lacking standard solutions.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines, including extended hours when needed.
- Proactive mindset with ability to recommend process, policy, and system improvements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Automotive / Mechanical / Manufacturing with 2-3 years of Automotive industry related experience
- Experience in training staff on equipment use / maintenance and providing leadership in equipment-related projects.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Understanding of MES system and integration
