About the role:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on all equipment and facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role supports production in a GMP-regulated environment, maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards while minimizing downtime.

This role is fully on‑site in our new Mesa, AZ facility.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments on manufacturing and packaging equipment, including mixers, fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, and utilities.
  • Execute preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring equipment reliability and compliance with manufacturer specifications and SOPs.
  • Assist in equipment installation, setup, and validation for new machinery and production lines.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in accordance with GMP and company documentation requirements.
  • Respond promptly to production calls for equipment repairs and support troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor and maintain facility operations such as plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to improve equipment performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA standards while performing maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain an organized, safe, and compliant maintenance shop and spare parts inventory.
  • Any additional duties assigned by the Plant Manager.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/tie school certification in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of mechanical or facilities maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or food manufacturing strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with GMP, FDA, and regulatory requirements for manufacturing environments.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and maintenance software (CMMS experience a plus).
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced production environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and climb for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in manufacturing environments with exposure to chemicals, powders, and equipment noise.
