A Process Technician monitors and controls automated process equipment to ensure optimal product quality and production output. The role includes troubleshooting process issues, implementing process improvements, maintaining detailed records, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, providing training, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities- Daily actions and focus:
- Monitor and control data from the G7 Wx commercial manufacturing space using systems such as OSI PI, Tableau, JIRA, etc.
- Monitor all processes to resolve issues efficiently, reduce downtime, and increase throughput.
- Monitoring and Control:
- Observe and adjust automated processes to maintain optimal performance and product quality.
- Act as 1st responder on UM‑INT events, delegating as necessary and completing Failure Mode checklists (RITE).
- Review key process indicators in OSI PI (handling, sensor placement, repetitive failures, yield, throughput) and use data‑driven methods to make output decisions, such as downing underperforming equipment.
- Perform Quality Control procedures.
- Troubleshooting:
- Identify and resolve complex machinery and system issues related to process operations.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with engineering, operations, MES, and other teams to support production and implement improvements.
- Provide Engineering Request (ER) support on a case‑by‑case basis and represent the engineering department on the commercial manufacturing floor.
- Manage and verify recipes.
- Training and Mentoring:
- Provide training to personnel on process operations and quality procedures.
- Observe workers to ensure equipment is used properly and maintained to correct standards.
- Documentation:
- Create and maintain documentation related to process setups, changes, and troubleshooting using Maximo Asset Management.
- 1 to 2 years of experience with data analytics.
- Experience in an equipment maintenance position is preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other office tools.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree (AA) in a technical field related to equipment, process, or electronics.
- Experience as a Manufacturing Associate or in equipment maintenance.

$24.47 - $40.81 per hour
