Overview
Position Summary
As a Realty Project Coach, you will join the Realty Execution team and own delivering store remodels on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will supervise hourly team members, handle escalations, and collaborate with store associates to keep projects on track. The role requires travel.
ResponsibilitiesLead a team to meet project timelines and deliverables; reinforce teamwork and resolve concerns from store leadership, suppliers, and associates.
Own the execution of projects in assigned stores; communicate plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders; understand plans and minimize impact on store operations.
Develop associates through supervision, listening, training, mentorship, recognition, and identifying career paths.
Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design.
Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross-functional teams.
Shift: Primarily overnight; night shifts average 10–12 hours.
Travel:
Frequent travel up to 1000 miles from home is a role requirement. Expect to be away from home 80% of the time, or for 17–21 days at a time.Travel areas depend on project workload and business needs. Associate will be based at a home store but may travel to surrounding states or farther. Mileage is reimbursed; overnight stays are paid for Realty Project Coach roles. Travel time is not paid.
The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 – $110,000.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business or related field and 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area; OR 3 years of experience in these areas.
Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
Master’s degree in Business or related field.
1 year of experience leading cross-functional teams.
Project Management – Management Professional Certification.
Have reliable transportation.
Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring and training; mentoring; assigning duties; providing recognition; and ensuring belonging awareness.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and supports mission, values, and ethics by implementing related action plans and Open-Door Policy.
Support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships with stakeholders; identifying needs; carrying out necessary processes; monitoring progress; recognizing opportunities for improvement; and adapting to changes.
