Job Summary

The Quality Supervisor oversees a team of Quality Training Specialists to execute the activities required to meet IES training and quality standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Quality Manager to establish the company's quality procedures, standards and specifications for all business units.
  • Define and train quality procedures to team and operations staff.
  • Review reports done by team to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Ensure that manufacturers' specifications are met.
  • Proactively look for ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Set up and maintain controls and documentation procedures.
  • Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing data and recommendations.
  • Make suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them.
  • Use relevant quality tools to make sure managers and other staff understand how to improve the business.
  • Monitor team to confirm we are working as effectively as possible.
  • Be a customer advocate.
  • Mentor team members to achieve goals; professional and personal.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Min USD $80.00 / Yr. Max USD $100.00 / Hr.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years training experience or related role.
  • Minimum of five (5) years project management experience in telecommunications, electrical or a related technical or construction field.
  • Prefer BICSI trainer certification. BICSI Technician certification also preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of job costing, job planning, quality management, safety training and contract administration.
  • Working knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry and their applications.
  • Skilled in numerical and statistical analysis.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project).
  • Must meet company minimum driving standards.
  • Estimated 50% travel. Must be able to travel within the branch territory and/or regional territory as needed.
  • Must be able to learn and teach company and customer project management systems.
  • Must promote the company culture and mission to all employees, vendors, clients and business partners.
  • Must possess proven problem‑solving skills, critical thinking skills and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentations.
  • Must have proven high skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to specifications, reporting and quality requirements.
  • Must be self‑motivated, positive in approach, professional and lead others to create, develop, implement and review project process improvement(s).
    Prefer BICSI trainer certification.
  • Must be able to use hand and power tools, climb ladders, lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work a non‑standard work schedule as required to provide job, team or individual specific training.
  • Must have proficiency with adult learning theory and instructional design (preferred).
