Janitorial Cleaner

Job Summary Details:

The Janitorial Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of various facilities.

Pay Rate: $17/hour

Shift: 3pm-11:30pm
Location: 9053 Aviation Way Mesa, AZ 85212

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Custodial experience is preferred but not required
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
• Must be able to clean 650 square feet per hour or faster maintaining quality standards set by Supervisor.
• Must have ability to work with other crew members and be able to take direction from Supervisor

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
• Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems
• Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
• Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities
• Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
• Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, clean blinds and draperies)
• Waste removal (empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas)
• Light maintenance (replace light bulbs, restock supply cabinet/room)
• Clean all mirrors, bright work and enameled surfaces
• Wash and disinfect all basins, urinals and bowls, using appropriate cleaner to remove stains and clean undersides of rim of urinals and bowls.
• Damp wipe, wash with disinfectant, when necessary, all partitions, title walls and outside surfaces of all dispensers and receptacles.
• Fill toilet tissue, soap, paper towel and sanitary napkin dispensers
• Clean flush-o-meters, piping, toilet seat hinges and other metal work
• Vacuum louvers, ventilating grilles and dust light fixtures as required
• Stock restrooms
• Straighten areas, such as lobbies, conference rooms, locker rooms, & break rooms
• Must be able to perform all physical aspects of the above job duties
