Moving and Packout Technician

Southwest Packout, a division of Advosy, is looking for dependable, hard‑working Moving Technicians to join our growing restoration and contents team. This position involves packing, moving, documenting, and transporting household goods and personal property after water, fire, or mold damage.

We are hiring for multiple positions ASAP
, whether you're just getting started or have experience sketching rooms, documenting contents, and working with insurance carriers, there’s a place for you on our team.

• Safely pack, label, and move contents from residential and commercial properties
• Load and unload trucks with care and efficiency
• Follow jobsite safety and cleanliness protocols
• Maintain professionalism when working in customer homes
• For lead-level roles
  : sketch rooms, photograph and inventory contents, and submit documentation to insurance using company software

• Ensure all items are properly labeled and documented
• Follow company standards for inventory control and storage
• Use mobile devices or software for capturing job information (for lead roles)

• Maintain a polite, respectful, and empathetic demeanor with clients
• Clearly explain steps of the process when needed
• Coordinate with team leads and office staff to ensure a smooth workflow

• Keep tools and packing materials clean and ready for use
• Ensure trucks are stocked, organized, and prepared for each job
• Follow proper lifting and moving techniques

• Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and dependability required
• No criminal record; integrity and professionalism are essential
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Experience in moving, packouts, or restoration is a plus
• For lead roles: experience with inventory, sketching rooms, taking photos, and submitting documentation to insurance carriers is preferred

Job Type: Full‑time, long term

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
, depending on experience. Opportunity to promote into a Lead role up to $22/hour
