Civil Litigation Attorney (All Levels)

Position Overview

We are seeking a Civil Litigation Attorney to join our growing litigation practice in the Greater Phoenix area. This position is open to newly licensed attorneys through experienced litigators, with responsibilities and mentorship scaled to experience level.

The attorney in this role will handle a variety of civil litigation matters from intake through trial and appeal
, working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with strong opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

• Manage all phases of civil litigation, including:
• Case intake and evaluation
  • Pleadings, discovery, and motion practice
  • Settlement negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations
  • Trial preparation and court appearances
• Conduct legal research and draft high-quality briefs, motions, and memoranda
• Attend hearings, depositions, conferences, and mediations
• Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and third parties
• Assist partners with trial strategy, witness preparation, and courtroom presentation
• Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with deadlines and procedural rules
• Participate in firm meetings, training, and practice development initiatives

Scope of responsibility will align with experience level.

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active Arizona Bar license (required)
• 1–5 years of civil litigation experience preferred
• Newly licensed attorneys encouraged to apply
• Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters and work independently when needed
• Experience with depositions, motion practice, and court appearances is a plus
