Field Technician II; Overnight

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Field Technician to join their team in Mesa, AZ and provide end-user support. This position will require overnight travel from Sunday to Thursday. The role is onsite at the client location during normal business hours, with overnight travel. Overtime may be required. Candidates must have a valid state driver’s license (Real ), clean motor vehicle record, and a reliable vehicle.

• Project focus on upgrading advanced commercial printers at retail locations
• Replace printer parts, paper feed, power supply, print head, toner drum, transfer belt, image unit as needed
• Perform complex upgrades and troubleshooting of printers, servers, hard drives, and monitor systems
• Provide on‑site technical support to internal or external customers resolving complex or escalated technology issues related to system equipment
• Install and remove equipment and systems as required
• Responsible for day‑to‑day operation of applications and equipment and serve as a customer contact on technical and service‑related problems
• Ensure that all schedules, transmissions, online systems, and problems are resolved accurately and timely
• Serve as a liaison between customers, departments, and within the organization to lead problem resolution and change management processes
• Determine the most cost‑effective repair/resolution to minimize customer downtime

• Minimum 2 to 3+ years of field service experience, specifically in commercial printers
• Able to travel extensively by plane and/or car
• Experience with commercial or large printers;
  Lexmark printer certification is a plus
• Experience working on commercial printers and possess electronics/mechanical aptitude
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, networks, databases, and network security concepts and tools
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook
• Experience with multi‑platform Windows operating systems
• Knowledge of Rufus, Windows Server imaging, photo printing, troubleshooting system connectivity and Windows configuration
• Ability to work independently in a retail environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent customer service skills and professionalism
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders, leadership, partners, and customers
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality
• Demonstrated capability to achieve results in a fast‑paced, client‑driven environment

The rate for this position is between $18.76 and $27.50 per hour. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
