OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and proactive System Admin I Ops and Security to join our dynamic team in Mesa, AZ, 85215. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our IT infrastructure and ensuring the security of our systems. Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring optimal operation of servers and networks.
- Implement and manage security protocols to protect sensitive information and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
- Assist in the deployment of new applications and system upgrades.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and document operational procedures.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance system security and efficiency.
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field strongly preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in system administration or IT support.
- Strong technical knowledge with emphasis on system security and a desire to expand into compliance and facility security operations.
- Requires acute attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments including supporting Active Directory and Windows Server environments.
- One or more security-related certification (e.g., Security+, Cyber Ops, CCSP) or network-related certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance at Secret level (preferred).
- Prior military service or experience supporting military or defense programs.
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as CMMC, NIST 800-171, or similar.
- Background or exposure to Facility Security operations, NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117), or cleared environments.
