Amazon Web Services (AWS) invites applications for the Network Deployment Planner I, GND within the Planning, Implementation, Coordination (PIC) Team. The role is based in the Global Network Delivery organization.

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all global infrastructure. This position focuses on scoping and planning interdependent capacity scaling projects and new network deployments across several data center locations, ensuring that physical infrastructure resources are available for execution.

• Ensure adherence to timelines.
• Deliver sustainable and repeatable solutions and processes, continuously improving.
• Work closely with install/deployment technicians, supply chain & procurement, network engineers, and technical project managers to enable fast, smooth delivery of on‑demand capacity.
• Maintain knowledge of network cabling and optic types; apply best practices and methodologies for cabling infrastructure.
• Prioritize tasks and use strong analytical judgment to balance fluctuating needs.
• Coordinate design, project schedules, milestones, and construction timelines.
• Apply core project management disciplines: scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and critical‑path management.
• Work autonomously with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment.

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Ability to lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Experience in project management.

• Effective customer problem resolution and capacity for operating under pressure.
• Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system.
• Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies.
• Experience working in a data‑center environment (racking, stacking, cable management, hot/cold aisle containment).
