At Western Vascular Institute we are looking for a Full-Time Medical Receptionist to assist with patients Check In + Outs. You will act as the ‘face’ of our company and ensure visitors receive a heartwarming welcome. You will coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, appointment scheduling and patient services (Insurance + Referral process). As a Medical Receptionist, you should combine a pleasant personality with a dynamic professional attitude.
Our ideal candidate has a solid customer service approach and can work efficiently in a fast paced environment with the ability to multi-task. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our front desk provides professional and compassionate service to our patients.
Compensation depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview process.
Responsibilities- Ensure front desk is tidy and has all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and informative leaflets)
- Greet patients to ensure timely and accurate customer service
- Answering telephones
- Fax filling
- Electronic chart preparation + scheduling
- Collection of copays
- Ensure company’s policies and security requirements are met
- Work experience as a Front Desk Coordinator is preferred
- Vascular experience is not required but is a HUGE PLUS
- EMR Knowledge - Centricity + Medstreaming(FIVOS)
- Task oriented
- Must be a self-starter + dependable
- Hands on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
- Thorough knowledge + experience in customer service
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Problem-solving skills
- High School diploma; additional certification(s) is a plus.
- Must be fluent in English, Spanish is a plus.
