Position Summary

The Clinical Director (BCBA) will be a pivotal leader within our organization, responsible for overseeing the clinical integrity, quality of care, and strategic growth of our ABA programs in the Phoenix metropolitan area. This role requires a strong clinical background, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to professional development and ethical practice. The Clinical Director will mentor BCBAs, RBTs, and other clinical staff, ensure adherence to best practices, and contribute to the overall vision of Reliatus's Behavioral Health services.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership & Oversight
  • Provide expert clinical leadership and supervision to a team of BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based ABA services in accordance with ethical guidelines and best practice standards.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct regular fidelity checks and program evaluations to maintain clinical excellence.
Team Management & Development
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and manage clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities for all clinical team members.
  • Conduct regular supervision meetings and case reviews.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
Program Development & Strategic Growth
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and expansion of ABA services within the Phoenix market.
  • Identify opportunities for program enhancement and diversification.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
Client & Family Collaboration
  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, and caregivers, ensuring their active participation in the treatment process.
  • Address client and family concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  • Advocate for the needs of individuals receiving services.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure all clinical documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory and funding source requirements.
  • Maintain adherence to BACB ethical guidelines and state / federal regulations.
Qualifications Education

Master's or Doctoral Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field from an accredited university.

Certification

Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.

Licensure

Arizona State Licensure for Behavior Analysts (or ability to obtain prior to start date).

Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of post-certification experience as a BCBA.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an ABA agency or clinical setting.
  • Demonstrated experience with staff training, supervision, and program development.
Skills
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in behavior analytic assessment and intervention techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and data collection platforms.
