Overview

A.T. Still University s Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) on the Mesa, Arizona campus is seeking full-time Audiology faculty. The Assistant/Associate or Full Professor will report to the Chair of Audiology. This is a full-time, tenure-track audiology faculty position with rank and salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Primary duties include teaching didactic and laboratory coursework in the audiology program and other duties as assigned.

• Developing and delivering assigned instructional components of the AuD curriculum, including teaching and evaluating students in classes and laboratory activities.
• Collaborating within the Audiology Department to contribute to team-teaching and comprehensive exams.
• Student advising and recruitment.
• Assigned departmental administrative duties (e.g., participating on admissions committees, accreditation reports/processes).
• Participating in service to the university, profession, and community.
• Scholarly productivity and mentoring students involved in research activities.
• Clinical supervision and/or provision of direct patient care services, as needed.

• Doctoral degree (AuD, PhD, or equivalent degree).
• Arizona audiology license (or eligible for license).
• Advanced knowledge in areas of audiology practice or instruction appropriate for the needs of the department.
• Experience teaching/training audiologists and/or supervising students.
• Clinical audiology experience.
• Record of professional and community service.
• Motivation to conduct research and/or record of scholarly productivity.
