Independent Living Specialist

Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of different programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient-centered medical homes, medication-assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.

The F/ACT Independent Living Specialists work with SMI clients in their homes or in the field to develop independent living skills. Independent living skills include, but are not limited to: food shopping, learning bus routes, cleaning home, proper hygiene, maintaining relationships with supportive family, and developing community-based supports. This position is expected to be in the field at least 80% of the time working with clients assisting them develop skills that will assist in sustaining ongoing recovery.

This position will also provide after‑hour and on‑call supports.

• High school diploma or GED required;
  Associate's degree or higher in a field related to behavioral health preferred.
• 1 or more years of clerical and/or administrative experience preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
