Position Details- Location: Mesa, AZ
- Agency: AMN Healthcare Allied
- Pay: $2,630 to $2,710 per week
- Shift Information: Days, 5 days x 8 hours

Allied Travel Careers is working with AMN Healthcare Allied to find a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Mesa, Arizona, 85201.
ResponsibilitiesAMN Healthcare is partnering with a top school district in Mesa, AZ to hire a School Psychologist to work in the area, providing services to children of all ages. This role involves counseling and related activities as part of IEP and 504 Plan support, and collaboration with teachers, parents, and administrators.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide counseling to students with mood disorders, autism, anxiety, depression, ADHD, social skill deficits, and conduct disorders to foster positive coping strategies, motivation, and skill development.
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students’ needs and strengths.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling to address emotional and behavioral issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments.
- Provide crisis intervention and support for students and staff as needed.
- Coordinate outreach activities supporting students and families, including pediatricians, outside counseling agencies, and agencies such as DCF, DMH, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Psychologist, School Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology
- State Certification and/or Licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working in a School Setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong Knowledge of Child Development, Learning Theories, and Behavioral Interventions
- Excellent Communication, Interpersonal, and Organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and community members
- Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in school and educational settings
- Ability to maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with federal and state regulations
