We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic
Financial Manager
to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in accounting standards such as IAS, IFRS, and GAAP, along with a strong background in corporate and financial management. This role involves leading financial planning, analysis, reporting, and compliance efforts to support organizational growth and sustainability. The Financial Manager will play a pivotal role in risk management, regulatory reporting, and strategic decision-making to ensure fiscal health and operational efficiency.

Duties
  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Oversee financial statement preparation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS, IAS, GAAP, ASC 606, and other relevant standards.
  • Manage all aspects of corporate accounting functions such as general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, cost accounting, and account analysis.
  • Conduct risk analysis and manage risk mitigation strategies across financial operations.
  • Lead treasury management activities including cash flow analysis, investment management, and banking relationships.
  • Ensure regulatory reporting compliance for governmental agencies and non-profit organizations as applicable.
  • Monitor profit & loss statements to analyze financial performance and recommend improvements.
  • Supervise financial software systems for efficient data processing and reporting.
  • Coordinate internal audits and facilitate external audits to ensure transparency and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Provide leadership in financial concepts such as cost control, revenue management, cost management, and fiscal management.
  • Support business development initiatives through financial modeling and investment analysis.
  • Oversee compliance management related to technical accounting standards like ASC 606 and IFRS guidelines.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for executive leadership and board review; interpret complex financial data for strategic decision-making.
Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of IAS, IFRS, GAAP, ASC 606, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Strong expertise in corporate finance, risk analysis, regulatory reporting, treasury management, and strategic planning.
  • Proficiency in financial software applications with advanced skills in balance sheet reconciliation, general ledger accounting, account reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable systems.
  • Demonstrated ability in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, investment management, and revenue optimization.
  • Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in account analysis and financial report interpretation.
  • Effective communication skills for preparing comprehensive financial reports and presenting insights clearly to stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in compliance management within public accounting or governmental contexts is preferred.
