2) to mid-career (Level
3) Design Engineers.

The Airframe IPT is a multi-functional Engineering Organization with a mission statement to provide engineering solutions via a highly skilled workforce for the advancement of the AH-64 Apache Helicopter. The Airframe IPT provides engineering support to various projects/programs and is a flexible team that strategically adapts to emerging opportunities.
Position Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and modify basic structural component designs, using 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop solutions to a variety of technical problems.
- Perform tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
- Assist with supplier development, test and production activities, and coordination with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
- Support investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
- Works under general supervision.
- Associate (Level
2) - Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Computer Science, Engineering Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. - Mid-Level (Level
3) - Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Engineering Technology), Computer Science, Engineering Data Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
- Prior work experience supporting the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter and/or the AH-6 Little Bird helicopter.
- Experience in structural design process from conceptual layout phase through build topackage release.
- NX CAD and Teamcenter PDM skills.
- Knowledge of structural design principles for aircraft primary and secondary structure.
- Ability and willingness to travel 10% of the time domestically and internationally.
