Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Flight line Readiness Technical Inspector to join our dynamic team in Mesa, AZ.

• Performs routine pre-flight inspection of aircraft systems and components for conformance to operational and safety standards
• Completes pre-flight and post-flight checks through thorough inspection of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and avionics systems
• Identifies issues or nonconformances affecting flight readiness. Rechecks work after maintenance or repair
• Supports preparing aircraft for flight and Airworthiness Certification
• Maintains inspection logs and writes inspection reports

• 3+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
• 1+ year of experience with Production Flight Test inspection or technical inspection experience in accordance with DAPAM 738-751 on an Army aircraft
• Experience or training in applying shop math
• Able and willing to work in confined spaces
• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime. Some positions may also be rotating shifts

• Experience working with the Apache aircraft

• 5+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Level B: $62,900 - $85,100

Level C: $73,950 - $100,050

Shift differentials may be available for second, third, and/or weekend shifts
