Avionics Technician

Pay rate: $35–$43 per hour

Nickerson Talent Solutions is actively hiring experienced Aircraft Avionics Technicians to join a high-performing Return-to-Service team supporting A-4 aircraft programs in Mesa, AZ.

• Perform avionics fabrication, disassembly, and reassembly
• Install, troubleshoot, and test complex avionics and electrical systems
• Conduct detailed soldering on navigation, communication, and control components
• Diagnose and resolve complex avionics issues
• Support ground test equipment setup and flight test preparation
• Perform both line and heavy maintenance activities
• Ensure full compliance with airworthiness standards, OEM documentation, and company procedures
• Complete and certify maintenance documentation
• Conduct independent checks (when authorized)

• High School Diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of aircraft maintenance experience
• Strong avionics troubleshooting and installation background
• Experience with return-to-service programs preferred
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and maintenance documentation
• Strong soldering skills and electrical assembly experience
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-focused
