Quality Engineer; Associate, Experienced, Senior - Mesa, AZ

Overview

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer (Associate, Experienced, Senior) to support the Quality team in Mesa, Arizona. This position is on-site unless specifically noted otherwise. • Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation.
• Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements.
• Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
• Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
• Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
• Works under general supervision.

• Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  Bachelor of Science from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science or computer science; more than 1 year of experience in manufacturing or fabrication; more than 1 year of experience using Excel to perform data analysis; more than 1 year of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  Level 3 – more than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  Level 4 – more than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
  Active U.S. Security Clearance;
  Experience in Model Based Definition (MBD);
  Experience in First Article Inspection (FAI/AS9102);
  Experience with composites or metals fabrication; experience in a role that required presentation skills.

  2) USD 83,300 – 112,700;
  Experienced Level (Level
  3) USD 100,300 – 135,700;
  Senior Level (Level
  4) USD 122,400 – 165,600.
