You will support a collaborative environment with multi‑disciplinary teams that take pride in developing, integrating, testing, and delivering innovative solutions.
Program Focus- This role supports Apache Helicopter production within Company Defense, Space & Security (BDS). Candidates will work on low‑volume assembly for large‑scale platforms, ensuring precision and efficiency in a dynamic environment.
- Apply industrial engineering concepts, approaches, and techniques to products, processes, and services.
- Develop plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, and workflow sequencing.
- Design, maintain, and optimize production systems by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.
- Conduct workflow analysis; develop models, databases, and spreadsheets for data analysis and metrics.
- Research, design, and implement process improvements to enhance schedule performance, reduce cost, and improve quality.
- Support execution planning using project management, scheduling, and shop load practices.
- Provide production, supply chain logistics, performance ipak, and recovery planning support.
- Ensure compliance with industry safety, design standards, and ergonomic guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Industrial Engineering or similar experience (Production/Manufacturing Engineering).
- Typically 3+ years of experience.
- Experience with low‑volume assembly on large‑scale platforms (rotorcraft, military aircraft, or similar).
- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma.
- Discrete Event Simulation Software (Simio, Pro Model).
- Constraint‑Based Scheduling Software (Aurora, MS Project).
- Job Scheduling and Sequencing.
- NX/Unigraphics or other 3D CAD tools.
- APQP and PFMEA.
- Teamcenter tools (PDM, Process Simulate, Manufacturing Process Planner).
