Essential Turbines is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Engine Technician with hands‑on R&O‑level experience on Rolls‑Royce M250 and RR300 engines to join our Arizona team.
From our FAA‑certified Repair Station in Mesa, we support helicopter operators around the world with precision overhaul, repair, and technical services that keep aircraft mission‑ready. Our work supports commercial, utility, and government operations where reliability isn’t optional.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Engine Technician with R&O‑level hands‑on experience on Rolls‑Royce M250 and RR300 engines to support continued growth in our Arizona operation.
This role is for technicians who take pride in precision work and want to be part of a professional, well‑run shop with clear standards, strong leadership, and real opportunity to grow. You will perform engine overhauls, repairs, inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and Essential Turbines’s quality system. Attention to detail, accountability, and teamwork are non‑negotiable.
Duties and Responsibilities- Perform complete disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of M250 Series II, IV, and RR300 engines and modules.
- Assist in mentoring and training junior technicians.
- Troubleshoot engine malfunctions and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
- Clean engine components using approved processes and equipment.
- Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools and interpret results.
- Record and document work performed in accordance with FAA and company requirements.
- Ensure that all parts meet airworthiness and serviceability standards.
- Use OEM manuals, service bulletins, and engineering drawings to guide maintenance procedures.
- Participate in engine testing and performance validation as needed.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report parts usage.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
- Follow all companies, OSHA, and FAA safety regulations and procedures.
- Wear and maintain proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Report unsafe conditions, hazards, or injuries to management immediately.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and promote a culture of workplace safety.
- Handle hazardous materials according to established guidelines.
- Stay current with emergency procedures and fire prevention practices.
- High level of experience with Rolls‑Royce M250 Series II, IV, and RR300 engines.
- Advanced technical knowledge in turbine engine disassembly, inspection, troubleshooting, and reassembly.
- Strong understanding of FAA regulatory compliance and documentation.
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- FAA Powerplant Certificate is not required but desirable.
- Prior experience in a certified MRO facility is highly desirable.
