Role / Responsibilities
  • Lead and support activities to ensure manufacturing, installation, and operational testing meet design and functional requirements.
  • Design electrical components, systems, and equipment for commercial and industrial applications.
  • Create accurate electrical layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams for various systems.
  • Develop and maintain design documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs) and electrical specifications.
  • Participate in design reviews and ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and product requirements.
  • Support the manufacturing and installation process by providing technical guidance and resolving design‑related issues.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Analyze existing designs for potential issues and propose effective solutions to optimize safety, performance, and manufacturability.
  • Perform load calculations and select appropriate electrical components to ensure system efficiency and safety.
  • Diagnose and resolve moderate to complex technical issues related to electrical systems.
  • Support product development initiatives, ensuring designs align with engineering and business objectives.
  • Assist in testing finished products and systems to validate performance and reliability.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, schematics, and test procedures.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a product‑focused role.
  • Proficiency in designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components and systems.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with a detail‑oriented and innovative approach to design challenges.
  • Working knowledge of applicable standards and regulations, including NEC, IEEE, and other industry‑specific codes.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills for effective collaboration across cross‑functional teams.
  • Proficiency in CAD/Solid Works software for electrical design.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC).
  • Ability to perform electrical load calculation and component selection.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • High attention to detail with a methodical and precise approach to design and documentation.
Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $38.94 per hour

Pay Range Maximum: $59.14 per hour

Compensation and Benefits:

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance‑based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program;

401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need‑based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
