Metrology Inspector - 1st Shift

The Metrology Inspector will work in the Quality Department and be responsible for performing inspections using precision measurement equipment/devices.

Amphenol Aerospace Operations is seeking a Metrology Inspector to work out of its state‑of‑the‑art facility in Mesa, AZ.

The key responsibilities of this Metrology Inspector include, but are not limited to:

• Summarize quality control data on the computer and report results to supervisor
• Perform in process checks (IPC’s)
• Document nonconforming product and accept resulting rework
• Perform calibration and capability studies for new machines
• Assist production personnel in its manufacture
• Perform AS9102 FAI’s and complete related documentation
• Support calibration activities and maintain records of various tools, instruments, and gauges used for product acceptance or verification/validation

• 25 minutes from Phoenix, AZ

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an equal or related field
• High school diploma or equivalent
• CMM experience applying GD&T or other optical measuring systems
• Strong working knowledge of metrology and measurement techniques and use of measurement equipment
• Vision acuity 20/25 (with or without corrective lenses), must pass the annual eye exam
