Overview
The Foster Arizona Education Support Coordinator will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer of Foster Arizona. The role requires the ability to merge direct program support and strategic creation and management of digital, social media, and learning management system for educational initiatives. This full-time position requires working on-site. This position includes occasional night and weekend availability specific to organizational needs.
ResponsibilitiesAdministration
- Oversee in-person and virtual educational programs, supporting training development, life skill resourcing, and community awareness efforts.
- Direct logistical support for filming production.
- Establish and track monthly goals, objectives, and KPIs aligning with annual education and awareness goals.
- Curate and execute yearly educational program plan.
- Cultivate collaborative relationships with community partners, department volunteers, contract workers, and foster care stakeholders.
- Manage Foster Cooperative platform, Youtube, Vimeo, and other sites specific to educational content.
- Other tasks as needed
- Conduct communications connected to education initiatives, both internally and externally.
- Develop digital content, storytelling, and educational materials that support organizational goals for education and awareness.
- Promote usage and onboard new users to the learning and connection platform
- Oversee contractors and development related to learning and connection platform.
- Communicate needs,
- Communicate any financial resources needed to effectively accomplish goals to the CEO.
- Keep accurate records of any purchases made and submit receipts in a timely manner to the CEO
- Assist in yearly budget planning specific to educational programming.
Skills and Qualifications
- Ability to collaborate and work well with others in a respectful manner.
- Flexible and willing to pivot quickly as needed
- Excellent in organizational and time management.
- High critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Demonstrated history of building relationships with community partners and program participants.
- Computer literacy; highly efficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google programs, and databases.
- Experience building content in social media platforms, content management systems, and video production/graphic design.
- Strong copywriting skills for creating educational campaign materials.
- At least 2 years of related experience in marketing and development of educational programs.
