Benedictine University seeks creative and motivated undergraduate students to assist in producing a promotional commercial and virtual campus tour that highlights the Benedictine student experience. Students in this role will collaborate with Student Life and campus leadership to develop engaging visual content that showcases campus culture, academics, residence life, athletics, and community.

Duties
:
- Work collaboratively with a small creative team of student videographers and editors.
- Participate in filming days and campus walkthroughs to capture key campus experiences.
- Provide creative input on storytelling, transitions, and overall video flow.
- Represent Benedictine University positively and professionally while filming on campus.
- Meet project deadlines and attend scheduled planning meetings.
Responsibilities
:
- Assist in the planning and development of a university promotional video and virtual campus tour.
- Collaborate with university staff and fellow student creators to brainstorm concepts, storyboards, and filming locations.
- Capture video footage across campus including classrooms, residence halls, athletic facilities, student events, and campus landmarks.
- Conduct assist with on-camera student interviews and testimonials.
- Help coordinate filming schedules with students, staff, and campus departments.
- Support video editing, sound, and visual storytelling to create a polished commercial-style production.
- Ensure the video reflects the authentic Benedictine University student experience and campus culture.
- Assist with social media–ready video clips and promotional content derived from the final project.

Must be a currently enrolled Benedictine student in good standing.
Preferred Skills- Interest in videography, media production, marketing, communications, or digital storytelling.
- Experience with video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Cap Cut, etc.) preferred but not required.
- Strong creativity and ability to capture engaging visuals.
- Comfortable working both on camera and behind the scenes.
- Ability to collaborate with a team and manage time around academic commitments.
Project Outcome
:
Students will contribute to the creation of a professional promotional commercial and virtual campus tour that will be used by Benedictine University for marketing, admissions, and student engagement initiatives.
Physical Requirements
:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Use of computer screen, phone and customer service.
May require bending or sitting for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The following of campus specific guidelines for pandemic protocols is required.
Training
:
As a University employee you are required to complete all University-specific and/or OSHA related training to fulfill your job duties. Specific training will be conducted online or in person. Employees must complete all trainings required by Benedictine University.
