Job Title: Retirement Plan Benefit Educator
Location: Mesa, AZ
Department: Company Retirement Plan Team
Reports To: Retirement Managing Director
Job OverviewThe Retirement Plan Benefit Educator is responsible for delivering retirement plan education to plan participants through in‑person and virtual engagements. This role ensures participants understand their retirement benefits and feel supported by providing clear, engaging education and relationship‑driven service. The ideal candidate will enhance participant experience, support client servicing efforts, and help identify opportunities to introduce broader wealth management services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver retirement plan education sessions to participants in both in‑person and virtual settings
- Travel to client sites approximately 1–2 weeks per month, primarily between Phoenix and Los Angeles
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retirement plan participants
- Provide clear explanations of retirement plan concepts to diverse audiences
- Coordinate and prepare materials for group and individual education sessions
- Support ongoing servicing of retirement plan clients in partnership with internal teams
- Identify opportunities to introduce participants to wealth management, tax, or estate planning services
- Collaborate closely with the Company Retirement Plan Team to ensure consistent service delivery
- Participate in onboarding, training, and professional development with experienced educators
- Represent the firm professionally at client locations and events
- No specific degree or certification required
- Entry‑level to early‑career experience; candidates transitioning from other fields encouraged to apply
- Teaching, training, customer service, or education background preferred
- Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Comfort presenting to groups and engaging one‑on‑one
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 1–2 weeks per month
- Spanish‑speaking / bilingual preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Relationship‑building and client engagement capabilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new concepts
- Professional presence and customer‑focused mindset
