Barbering Teacher

Applications are being accepted to build a qualified candidate pool for anticipated Barbering Teacher openings for the 2026/2027 school year, at our 1601 W. Main Street, Mesa AZ 85201 campus.

Job Summary

Under general supervision, the Welding teacher will prepare students to apply technical knowledge and skills in the fundamentals of barbering.

Salary: $50,651.00 - $84,636.03. Placement in the range will be based on a combination of education, industry related experience, teaching experience, and certification.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Barber.
• Valid Barbering instructors license from the Arizona State Board of Barbering required
• Ability to obtain an Arizona Department of Education Secondary or Career & Technical Education (CTE) Certification in the area of Industrial and Emerging Technologies https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below)..
• Valid Level 1 IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card through Arizona Department of Public Safety.
• Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) if born after January 1, 1957.
