Job Summary

This position is scheduled to begin August 2026.

As Practical Nurse (PN) Program Coordinator, you will provide both instructional and program oversight.

Teaching responsibilities include Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing, Pharmacology, IV therapy, phlebotomy, and clinical rotations in long-term care, acute care, pediatrics, behavioral health, and obstetrics, along with skills lab facilitation and simulation integration.

Beyond teaching, the Coordinator will oversee curriculum alignment, clinical placement coordination, scheduling, compliance monitoring, faculty mentoring, student support, program evaluation, and preparation for future accreditation.

The position will also collaborate with other MCCCD campuses and healthcare partners to ensure program consistency, high academic standards, and workforce readiness.

This dedicated role ensures the PN program remains rigorous, sustainable, and student-centered, meeting the needs of diverse learners while supporting the healthcare workforce demands of the community.
