Job Description:
The Library seeks an organized, self-motivated non-residential work study student to help maintain and submit digital scholarly objects into Still Scholar Works, the ATSU institutional repository.
The student will create several email communications for use by our liaisons to send out to identified faculty published authors. The student will use already identified sources to maintain a database of ATSU published articles with the goal of their inclusion into the ATSU repository.
It is anticipated that this position will work 5-15 hours a week. Training for all job duties will be provided.
Job Duties- Compile list of faculty research in Excel spreadsheet or other databases/spreadsheet from disparate sources such as research newsletter, Pub Med alerts, Scopus alerts.
- Compose email to faculty and student authors for article submissions to Still Scholar Works, the ATSU repository.
- Consult and interpret Romeo Sherpa database to request correct copy of article submissions for inclusion in article request email.
- Upload and include correct metadata for each submitted article
- Participate in repository related projects such as thesis
Ability to work nights and weekends, good academic standing
