About the Position
Locum Jobs Online  is working with Vie Med Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Cardiac Electrophysiology MD in Flagstaff, Arizona, 86001!

Electrophysiology Physician

Join our esteemed team as an Electrophysiology Physician and play a vital role in delivering exceptional cardiac care in a dynamic hospital setting. This opportunity is ideal for experienced cardiologists specializing in heart rhythm disturbances and ablation procedures, seeking a rewarding and impactful position. Your expertise will directly contribute to patient outcomes while working with cutting-edge technology and a collaborative team environment.

Required Skills:

Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Cardiology

Valid Arizona medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)

Minimum of 1 year experience performing electrophysiology procedures, including ablations

Proficiency in heart rhythm disorder management and ablation techniques

Ability to independently perform moderate sedation

Experience with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping System

Certifications:

ACLS

Excellent clinical judgment and patient communication skills

Nice to Have

Skills:

Experience performing TEEs

Additional certifications in advanced cardiac procedures

Prior experience working with Cerner EMR system

Familiarity with hospital consult workflows and in-office clinic operations

Ability to handle a high patient volume efficiently

Preferred

Education and Experience:

Medical degree from an accredited institution

Residency or fellowship training in Electrophysiology

At least 1 year of recent EP procedural experience, with documented case logs emphasizing ablations performed in the past two years

Other Requirements:

AZ medical license and DEA registration (applicants able to obtain licensure are encouraged to apply)

Willingness to work day shifts from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, including holidays with overtime at 1.5x pay

Commitment to maintaining current certifications and ongoing professional development

This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $407.55, with benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, weekly pay via direct deposit, paid sick leave, and Reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and other related expenses.
