Banner Children’s Specialists (BCS), a multispecialty group on the campuses of Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa and Banner Thunderbird Medical Center in Glendale, is actively recruiting a Pediatric Urologist for the Banner Desert campus. The Urology Division at BCS currently includes four physicians and four APPs; with the upcoming retirement of a longstanding physician, we are expanding our team to meet the needs of a growing pediatric community.

This role offers exposure to a high‑volume environment with a supportive leadership team and collaboration with specialties such as Gastroenterology, Nephrology, General Surgery, and Cardiology.

• Graduate of or finishing an accredited residency or fellowship program in Pediatric Urology
• Eligibility for credentialing as part of Banner Children’s Specialists, including BE/BC Urology with Special Qualifications in Child Urology, an active license or the ability to obtain a license in Arizona, and current DEA registration
• Interest in general pediatric urology with additional interest in performing in‑office procedures such as circumcisions
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team setting and communicate effectively
• Finishing residents, fellows, and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply

Serving a pediatric population of 350,000+, BDMC in Mesa is a state‑of‑the‑art, 206‑bed children’s hospital opened in November 2009. Designed “Through the Eyes of a Child,” the facility offers comfort and a home‑like environment with child‑life professionals, non‑procedure zones, and therapeutic spaces such as the Forever Young Zone, Sophie’s Place, and the Big Outside.

BTMC in Glendale is a 890,000‑sq‑ft acute‑care facility located on 33 acres at 55th Ave. and Thunderbird Road. The recent $290 million expansion added a spacious lobby, patient/family library, heart and vascular center, state‑of‑the‑art surgical suites, and a 200‑bed patient tower.
