The estimator will be responsible for meeting with clients/customers and gathering all needed information for a detailed estimate. We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will assist the company in making profitable business decisions by gathering information and preparing accurate estimates. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail‑oriented, and has a proven track record as an Estimator.

• Fully understand the project scope and requirements by studying documentation, meeting with clients, and visiting relevant locations
• Collect necessary documentation such as plans, drawings, and project specifications
• Determine the key variables for cost and conduct research to determine expected labor and materials costs
• Gather bids and negotiate with service providers to secure the best possible prices
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including insurance projects, remodels and structural fires
• Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates
• Follow up on estimated projects on a regular basis to sell the job
• Must be computer savvy
• Must be self‑motivated, highly organized, and able to take initiative

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Excellent research, writing, and negotiation skills
• Proven experience in construction estimating and insurance industry
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards
• Proficiency in using estimating software such as Xactimate is required
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with insurance companies on obtaining approvals in a timely manner
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost control and pricing analysis. • Great personality to interact with clients and make them feel comfortable
• Minimum of 3 years restoration experience
• Minimum of 3 years construction experience
• Valid driver’s license required

• Updating vendor portals with regular communication on job status
• Communication within team members on approvals
• Communicating with homeowners on approvals

• Experience in Xactimate
• Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proven administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage workload and effectively prioritize projects.
• Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to plan, multi‑task, and manage time effectively.
