Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC is an award‑winning team that values safety, quality, and community involvement. We are looking for a Project Consultant to drive revenue growth by selling pavement maintenance and construction services in the Phoenix market and new territories. The role is client‑facing and requires strong business‑development skills in the heavy civil construction and pavement maintenance industry.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Build and maintain client relationships from first contact through final proposal.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate Sunland products and services.
- Generate leads via cold calls, referrals, and industry events.
- Prepare accurate field sheets, work orders, and change orders.
- Attend customer pre‑construction meetings and coordinate with estimating and production teams.
- Follow up on customer satisfaction and resolve complaints.
- Approve invoices and manage receivables.
- Maintain safety standards and quality control on all projects.
- High school diploma or GED; 4‑year college degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in construction or pavement maintenance.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in English (read, write, speak).
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to travel frequently to project sites.
