About The JobWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Technical Specialist with deep technical knowledge of vehicle systems and components. This individual is not a retail counterperson but a hands‑on technician who understands diagnostics, repairs, and advanced vehicle technologies. The ideal candidate is passionate about automotive innovation and committed to delivering high‑quality service and technical support for the call center team.
Asan Automotive Technical Specialist, you will…
- Understand advanced diagnostics and repairs on a wide range of vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical, HVAC, suspension, and infotainment.
- Interpret and utilize technical service bulletins, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools and codes.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to provide feedback on vehicle performance and reliability.
- Support call center teams to understand DTC codes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and raise complex issues to appropriate teams.
- Maintain detailed documentation of the process.
- Review and update knowledge base cards/process.
- Review calls and provide feedback.
- Help with technical training.
- Be flexible to any ad‑hoc task, both technical and non‑technical.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems.
- Proficiency with OEM diagnostic tools and software.
- Excellent problem‑solving, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team‑oriented environment.
