You hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and have at least 4 years of relevant experience. A CPA certification is a significant plus. - Technical Excellence:

Primary Areas of Focus- Financial Management
- Financial Reporting
- Billing and Collections
- Assist in maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, ensuring basic accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Process invoices, track expenses, manage vendor relationships, and oversee collections.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Help review employee timesheets for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Assist in preparing and posting recurring journal entries, ensuring accuracy in the general ledger for monthly financial statements.
- Assist in the invoicing process, including preparing, issuing, and tracking invoices, and helping resolve billing discrepancies.
- Work collaboratively with other accounting staff, providing support and assistance as needed.
- Help prepare financial reports, including monthly statements, and assist in providing basic analysis to support decision-making.
- Track and report on project costs, ensuring accurate allocation of expenses and revenue recognition.
- Support the budgeting process by gathering data, analyzing variances, and preparing reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- This position is non-billable. Non-billable activities include company & team meetings, professional development, community involvement, innovation time, culture & engagement activities, learning, and training.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Multi-task in a team environment, with extensive organizational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Experience problem solving and maintaining organized processes.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and business accounting software.
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
- Required to stand, walk, and sit.
- The position may require a visit to project sites occasionally.
- The position requires a normal range of hearing.
- The employee must be able to lift 20 lbs. occasionally.
- Requires prolonged sitting with 15% of the time spent bending and reaching.
- Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
