Bookkeeper​/AP Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior-level bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Full-Cycle Accounting
  :
  Manage the complete accounting process from start to finish.
• Daily Data Entry
  :
  Process accounts payable (AP) invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Transaction Monitoring
  :
  Review, verify, and audit accounting records and transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation.
• Financial Planning Support
  :
  Assist the CFO/Controller and General Manager in developing annual financial projections and forecasts.
• Report Compilation
  :
  Prepare reports detailing key metrics such as cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, profit and loss, and other critical business operations data.
• Customer Invoicing
  :
  Generate and send invoices to customers for services or goods provided.
• Month-End Close
  :
  Perform general ledger adjustments and account reconciliations to complete month-end closing activities.
• Financial Data Preparation
  :
  Compile and upload monthly financial data for review by the Controller and CFO.
• Payroll Reconciliation and Audits
  :
  Manage, reconcile, and audit quarterly and annual payroll reports (e.g., 940, 941, RT-6).
• Policy Recommendations
  :
  Suggest improvements to accounting policies and systems.
• GAAP Compliance
  :
  Ensure all accounting procedures align with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Audit Preparation
  :
  Prepare and provide documentation for external auditors.
• Issue Resolution
  :
  Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and non-compliance issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 3-5 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in Quickbooks or similar accounting software is required.
• AvSight software experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Aviation/Aerospace industry is preferred.
