Overview
Fixed Term Post - Length to be confirmed. 37 Hours Term Time, 42 Weeks = 93.2%. Salary: £29,392 - £31,407 per annum.
The role will provide parenting support to families across Merthyr Tydfil, contributing to the delivery of the Flying Start and Families First parenting objectives.
Responsibilities- The Parent Support Worker will focus on engaging families and helping them to build confidence, resilience, and motivation through the delivery of evidence-based parenting programmes.
- Support will be offered through both group sessions and one-to-one interventions, ensuring that parents and carers have the skills and confidence needed to promote the physical, emotional, and educational development of their children.
- This post will place particular emphasis on delivering community-based parenting interventions and on developing strong engagement with new partners, parents, and guardians to strengthen support networks and outcomes for families.

- Ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
