• Model effective social work practice focused on safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare in complex and high-risk situations.
• Engage in planning and decision-making to secure timely permanence for children unable to live at home.
• Provide leadership and support to less experienced social workers to maintain high standards of practice.
• Work collaboratively with foster carers and adopters to support children’s health, development, and education.
• Complete high-quality assessments, planning, reviews, and case management in line with legal and professional standards.
• Make informed decisions about children’s needs and available resources to achieve the best outcomes.
• Coordinate with multi-agency professionals and ensure active participation and feedback.
