Service Manager; Street Scene; RP

Service Manager (Street Scene)(RP0105) Salary £60,175 per annum up to £69,590 per annum 37 hours per week (hybrid working) Permanent contract

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manager to lead our team in this newly created role. It will be up to you to ensure that the Council’s statutory responsibilities for Environment (waste services and street cleansing), Landscape and Ecology (including grounds maintenance) and Climate Change are fulfilled and delivered. You will ensure our long-term strategies and objectives are met.

Your exceptional communication skills will be crucial as you collaborate with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

• Substantial experience of working in waste and grounds maintenance and experience in working in Environment, Landscape and Ecology and Climate Change Services and leading services at managerial level.
• A relevant degree or appropriate professional experience.
• Detailed knowledge of waste and other services, current and future challenges and opportunities and contract management experience.
